Millionaires shortbread aka caramel shortbread

The 'million' in millionaires shortbread is for the million years that it takes you to get round to making your own. 

But you're in for a treat when you do! As with most things shop brought versions can get nowhere near what you make yourself. Used this recipe - it's a good'un!
The above version we served yesterday for a corporate lunch delivery. This one I served for a party in Chipping Campden tonight:
