1001 Kitchen tips # 36 - Non slip canapés

Thursday, December 04, 2008
If you've got hungry guests it may not be a problem - they'll be gone as soon as you've walked out of the kitchen before they've had time to fall off the edge of your serving plate. But, if you want to circulate among guests and chat while your serving them, it helps to pipe cream cheese underneath canapés to both stick the bases to the plate, and the canapés to the bases.

Use a piping bag and thin piping nozzle (around 4 - 5mm). This is essential if you are transporting them as I was here.
